Stephanie Thiel

Stephanie Thiel holds a diploma in Psychology and a MA in International Criminology from the University of Hamburg. She is a doctoral student at the University of Konstanz, exploring how different media frames about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict impact anti-Semitic and/or anti-Muslim sentiments.
Since 2013 she has been working as a sexual therapist at the University of Giessen, with the main focus on paedophiliac men who do not want to become sexual perpetrators.
Her areas of scientific interest include anti-Semitism, anti-Muslim sentiments, global political economy, mechanisms and consequences of inclusion and exclusion, anomie, white collar-crime and corruption.
