We are committed to protecting the privacy of our grantees. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).
We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. We collect information about you for two reasons: first, to process your grant application and second, to monitor the distribution of funds. We will not e-mail you in the future except as it applies to the IPRA Foundation, your application, or peace research.
The type of information we will collect about you includes:
- your name
- phone number
- e-mail address
The names of grantees, country of origin, and title of awarded grants may be listed publicly, so that the foundation can publicize its activities. If we intend to transfer your information outside the IPRA Foundation membership, we will always obtain your consent first.
The personal information that we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law. We never use technology to track the patterns of behavior of visitors to our site, including the use a “cookie” which would be stored on your computer.
